Halfway done with the year!
We are past the halfway mark of the year, which means it’s time to stop and take stock of everything you’ve accomplished so far. Congratulations!
Give yourself time to get organized.
Do your spring cleaning one step at a time.
Figure out who your real friends are. Hint: They care about you and what you’re doing, not just the things you have in common.
Eat something you like and don’t count the calories.
Take a walk. Not for exercise, not to get somewhere. Just to be outside and see your surroundings from a different perspective.
Color something daily for a week.
Figure out what “be you” means to you.
Try a meditation app or program for a week.
Contact someone you haven’t talked to in awhile that you wish you had.
Hug someone. Heart to heart. For more than 1 second. A real hug.
Make a realistic list of tasks for a day or a week. Check them off and look at that before you go to bed!
Do something nice for yourself: pedicure, massage, nice lunch, new pair of shoes, take the afternoon off.
Do something nice for someone else without them knowing: leave a note, tidy their room, wash the dishes, alphabetize their books.
Reset. It’s OK to get off course and start over again.
Make a donation to a charity. Even if it’s only $10, it will mean a lot to them. And you’d be surprised how much it can mean to you.
Learn something. Try a new recipe. Watch an informational program or documentary. Be curious.
Get outside and enjoy Nature now that the weather is improving.
Listen to someone who needs listening to. A friend who needs to vent, a family member who lives alone, a child who is rarely heard.
