Hey - you made it through a quarter of the year!
If you’ve been following along with our 51 Ways to Improve Your Life in 2019 series, here’s what you’ve accomplished already:
Give yourself time to get organized. Don’t put pressure on yourself to start something TODAY.
Do your spring cleaning one step at a time. A drawer here, a cabinet there. Don’t even try to tackle a whole room at once.
Figure out who your real friends are. Hint: They care about you and what you’re doing, not just the things you have in common.
Eat something you like and don’t count the calories. Not every day. Just do it once this week and give yourself that pleasure.
Take a walk. Not for exercise, not to get somewhere. Just to be outside and see your surroundings from a different perspective.
Color something daily for a week.
Figure out what “be you” means to you.
Try a meditation app or program for a week. Calm’s “Do Nothing for 30 Seconds” Ad is so effective!
Contact someone you haven’t talked to in awhile that you wish you had. Maybe it comes to nothing, but just reaching out will feel good.
Hug someone. Heart to heart. For more than 1 second. A real hug.
Make a realistic list of tasks for a day or a week. Check them off and look at that before you go to bed!
Do something nice for yourself: pedicure, massage, nice lunch, new pair of shoes, take the afternoon off.
That’s quite a list! Pat yourself on the back for making these small changes; small changes add up to a better attitude.
